ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

REMAK-ENERGOMONTAŻ S.A. declares that – with concern for the environment in mind – it makes every effort to carry out tasks in a way that limits the negative aspects of environmental impact. To this end, the company has implemented the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System standard.

Care for the environment as well as monitoring environmental aspects are indispensable elements serving to protect the nature against harmful effects.

The identification of environmental aspects includes the following elements - both significant and non-significant - which include:
  • organised and unorganised emission to the atmosphere,
  • electricity consumption,
  • consumption of natural resources as a result of the Company's operations,
  • sewage emissions,
  • waste generation,
  • potential environmental pollution due to emergencies.

The company is constantly improving the Integrated Management System, including the Environmental Management System, which is expected to limit an overall impact on the environment.

Activities aimed at eliminating environmental threats include:
  • using the latest technologies such as the implementation of Environmental Protection Systems (desulphurisation, dedusting, denitrification, etc.),
  • using specialised and modern infrastructure correlated with IT systems,
  • proper management of post-industrial areas,
  • waste segregation
  • and a number of activities that improve environmental conditions.
